Privacy Policy

This policy explains how HEAL — Healthy Eating And Living (“HEAL”, “we”, “us”), a unit of Resco Foods, #8, Greater Kailash Colony, Lalkothi, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302015, collects and uses your personal data when you visit https://www.heal.kitchen (the “website”), place an order or contact us. We process personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to take and deliver your order or answer you.

  • Diwali hamper orders: your name and phone number; the recipient’s name and phone number if you’re sending a gift; the delivery address, the location you pin on the map and any flat or landmark details; the delivery or pickup date; personal messages for gift cards; any note you add; and the coupon code you use.
  • Payments: the order amount, and the order and payment IDs issued by Razorpay. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay’s secure checkout and never reach us.
  • WhatsApp orders and enquiries: our menu, contact and corporate forms prepare a WhatsApp message for you to send. We receive what you send us on WhatsApp, such as your name, phone number, order and message. The website does not store these forms.
  • Usage information: pages viewed, buttons tapped, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and the site that referred you, collected through the analytics and advertising tools described below.

How we use it

  • To prepare, pack and deliver your order, print gift-card messages and contact you or the recipient about delivery.
  • To calculate the delivery fee and confirm that the address is within our Jaipur delivery area.
  • To take payment, prevent fraud, and keep accounting and tax records.
  • To reply to your enquiries and feedback.
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it.
  • To measure how our ads perform, as described under “Analytics and advertising”.

By placing an order or sending us an enquiry, you consent to this use. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your gift messages or notes for anything other than your order.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the website and fulfil orders:

  • Razorpay processes payments. Your order details are attached to the payment so we can match them.
  • Google: Google Maps powers the address search, map pin, delivery-area check and delivery-fee distance; Google Sheets stores hamper order records for our team.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) carries the messages you choose to send us.
  • Vercel hosts the website.
  • Our delivery staff or partners receive the recipient’s name, phone number and address to deliver your order.

We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it, for example to tax or other government authorities.

Analytics and advertising

  • Vercel Web Analytics counts page views in aggregate without setting cookies.
  • Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics record how visitors use the website, such as pages viewed and items added to a WhatsApp order. Google may use cookies for this.
  • Meta Pixel, on our Diwali hampers pages only, tells Meta when you view the page, add a hamper, start checkout, send an enquiry or complete a purchase, including the order value. Meta uses this, together with its cookies, to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and show relevant ads. You can manage this in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will still work, though our analytics will be less accurate.

Data stored on your device

Some features remember small, non-identifying details in your browser’s storage: which days you visited (to decide when to suggest installing the app or show the welcome menu), whether you dismissed the install prompt or the Diwali popup, and your hamper order summary for the confirmation page. The app also keeps a copy of pages for offline use. This information stays on your device and isn’t sent to us; clearing your browser’s site data removes it.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them to fulfil and support your order, and afterwards for as long as the law requires us to keep accounting and tax records. Hamper details saved when you start a payment that you don’t complete are kept only for as long as we need them to resolve any payment issue. WhatsApp conversations stay in our WhatsApp account until we delete them.

How we protect it

The website runs over HTTPS. Payments are handled by Razorpay. Order records are kept in access-controlled accounts that only our team can open. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • erase your data, unless we must keep it by law (for example, tax records);
  • withdraw consent you have given (this doesn’t affect what we did before); and
  • nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to.

To make a request, or to raise a complaint, contact us using the details below. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

The website is not meant for children under 18. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children; if you think a child has given us their data, please contact us and we’ll delete it.

Other websites

Links to Swiggy, Zomato, Instagram, WhatsApp, our bakery site and other services are governed by those services’ own privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with its effective date at the top.
